Our mission is to raise funds from the community to provide critical resources to support projects and initiatives typically not covered by the city budget.

The Redondo Beach Police Foundation raises funds from the community and accepts grant applications from the Redondo Beach Police Department to issue grants to support the following priorities:
Classroom Emergency Trauma Kits
Thanks to the Redondo Beach Police Foundation and our sponsor LA Kings, every
classroom in every school in the Redondo Beach School District will have an
emergency trauma kit and every school staff member will be trained on its use, so that
our schools are better prepared to protect our students in case of critical emergencies.

National Police Week in Washington DC
The Redondo Beach Police Foundation was honored to send four officers to join the
tens of thousands of law enforcement officers from around the country to participate in
National Police Week in Washington DC. They represented our great city on the
national stage, held key meetings with legislators and brought back experiences that will help create an even stronger police department moving forward.

Domestic Violence & Victims Advocacy
The Redondo Beach Police Foundation was pleased to support the department’s
Domestic Violence Victims Advocacy Program, helping to ensure the safety and quality
of life for victims of domestic violence. The program serves, assesses or contacts
approximately 900 domestic violence incidents annually. Through the Foundation’s
support, approximately 20-25 families will be given the help, resources, basic needs and
safe-housing required to get out of danger and get a new start in life.

DEPARTMENT MORALE & teAM bUILDING
We want our officers to feel supported by their community. Therefore, RBPF supports events, projects and activities that promote camaraderie between officers, provide recognition for great work and leadership and boost. morale within the department.
